Happy Holidays!

We hope as the 2011 year comes to an end, that you and your family are in great health, happiness and are enjoying the holiday season. Luke and I have been well, but our family has seen better days. In early October, Luke's brother had an unexpected/unexplainable bleeding in his brain. Now almost two months later, he is slowly making progress and possibly returning to a facility in Yakima next week. Also during this time, my great-grandma passed away. This time has been challenging, but God is so good and has continued to show his faithfulness through it all.

We wanted to quickly give an update on where we are at with the adoption. In late spring of 2011, we were asked to take some time to prepare financially for the adoption. We are getting closer to the goal and think we will reach this goal and reapply in February.

Some specific prayer requests are:

• I (Ashley) would not be discouraged
  
• I (Ashley) would not be in fear: of something going wrong
• We would continue to be diligent and always moving forward in the adoption
• I (Ashley) would be patient: remembering its in God's timing, that I would not notice the waiting
• We would be preparing for parenthood
• We would have wisdom in decision making when it comes to the adoption
• We'd always be under the covering of God's leading
